Airtel Broadband Giving Wrong Commitments
I wanted to change my Airtel DSL connection Plan to 1Mbps plan, so I contacted Airtel customer care, When I contacted Airtel customer care in the month of May 8th or 9th they took my request to change the plan & said it would be effective from the next billing cycle. I also asked them what my present DSL plan was, they gave me wrong information about my present plan & misguided me. Because of this wrong information that they provided my bill shot up thrice than what it used to be for the month of May. And the worst part of it all they didn’t event change my plan which they said they would do. Now when I contacted them about the misinformation that they provided, they have taken no action on it.
Later in the month of June-July, The DSL was not working for more than 20 days & I had raised around 10 complaints about the same. only after 20 days the problem was resolved. Now during this period the modem was not at all stable & it used just keep on rebooting. The DSL plan in which I was in the bill is being calculated as per the modem switch on & modem switch off time. The problem is now that the modem kept on rebooting I was not able to browse & since the modem powered on I have been charged for time on which I was not able to browse. And since even thought the modem was powered on Airtel was not able to provide the browsing service that they had to & over that I have been charged for the hours on which they were not able to provide the service.
