Airtel Broadband Speed Issue
Over the past 1 month I have raised more than 10 complaints on the broadband speed which I’m getting. I was initially with 2 MBPS plan and later shifted to 512 kbps. I made a request during Oct mid to upgrade my plan to 2 MBPS unlimited @ Rs 999/month. As per the process they informed that the new plan will be effective from next billing cycle (26th Oct’11). When I contacted the customer service center, they informed that the plan is migrated but I never get 2 mbps speed. Every time they claim that everything is fine at their end and they also claimed that my laptop would have virus which prevents the speed. In reality I also use to connect using my mobile which doesn’t get the required bandwidth.
I’m so annoyed by the service of the company and going to drop off from Airtel to opt for other service providers. Airtel really is downplaying broadband just to boost 3G sales.
