Airtel Digital TV Connection Custody And Then Suspended
I went on vacation on the 4th may & on 3rd may i called airtel & told them to keep my connection in safe custody & i will have it activated when i am back.First they refused to take my request saying that their server is down & it cannot be done.
I asked that i want to speak to a senior manager,Then one Mr Sandeep Banerjee came,I repeated my request & also told him that a big company like urs must have definitely made arrangements to take down customer requests even if the server is down he agreed & gave me the custody activation number 38043481 & told me that when i come to give this number & the connection will be activated.
During my vacation i received SMS’s from airtel stating that my balance has gone negative & my connection is being suspended.Yesterday when i came back to Pune i called the Airtel people,they told me that my connection could not go in safe custody because of some problem at thier end they also told me to buy a recharge from which the negative balance will be deducted & the connection will be restored.I REFUSED for all of this with no fault of mine why i should pay,then they gave me a complaint no 2836537 & said they will get back to me on 29th.
What i am surprised is that in todays customer oriented world where customer is GOD they take him for granted.Compeition is high lots of players in the market & u preform like this…The seniors in
AIRTEL should look into this & give training to thier staff & take action againgt those who are spoiling thier company’s name.
