Airtel DTH Service Is The Worst Services And Customer Care Exectives Are Very Rude

I shifted my house from Block-P to Block-R in sec-11, Noida. To shift the Airtel DTH connection, I called Airtel DTH customer care on 3rd Sep-2011 for de-install it from my old address and to install it at my new address. For this they told me that their Engineer will charge Rs 300 for the complete task. They opened the task (request id: 11550756) and inform me that the representative will come by 2:00 PM on 3rd Sep. I asked the customer care executive to make sure that the representative will call me before visiting my house.

I waited till 5:50 PM and then I got a message that my request has been resolved and there was a number given at the end of the message and it was written to contact at the number in case of any issue. I called that number (8130223222) and the person told me that it was closed automatically and informed me that it would not possible for him to work on my request before 4th Sep-2011 i.e. Sunday.

Sunday morning I called on the same number but the person was not picking the phone. Then I called again customer care and explain the issue. Again the customer care executive confirm me that it would be done by 2:00 PM on Sunday and opened a new request 11595784. I got a new message for the same and again the same number was given to contact in case of any problem.

I waited till 7:00 PM and then I called at 8130223222 but the phone was switched off so I called customer care and they again ensure me that it will be done by Monday Morning i.e. 05 Sep-2011. On Monday at around 2:22 PM I got a message that my request 11595784 is closed. Then I called Nodal office and explained the full story to them and also told that I myself de-install the DTH from my old home as the Land Lord was asking me to do the same. They assured me that I will get a call from someone who will take care of this and opened a new request 11568149.

Around 4:30 PM, I got a call from someone from 8130570657 who told me that he will install my DTH. I told him that I will be at my home by 6:30 PM and asked him to call me before coming to my home. I waited till 6:40 PM and then called at the same number but the number was switced off. I again called the customer care and they told me that it is not possible for them to do it today…..it will be done by tomorrow. The executive called me very rudely and disconnect my phone.

I called at the helpline number 8130223222 but it was busy so I again called several times but the person did not pick my phone and also when I tried to contact customer care again, they disconnect my phone by some automatic settings which is used to ignore helpless customers.

I know it is a big story but I need answers of my below questions:

1:) Why the person is not picking up my phone evenif that number is given to help Airtel Customers?

2:) Why customer care execujtive add my number in deafult number to ignore my call?

3:) I want to go to Consumer Forum and file a case against Airtel DTH services. Is the information above is sufficient enough for this or I need some more details?
