Complaint Against Maruti Insurance – Delay in Claim Settlement

Hello,
I’m compelled to lodge this complain with you as my Maruti Alto car of TR-01-F-0644 Reg.No.,insured with Maruti Insurance(Policy No.460130765) met with an accident on 29-01-10 night, near Agartala and since than lying with the local dealer cum representative of the insurer M/S “Jain Udyog” Arundhuti Nagar, Agartala, Tripura,along with fulfilment of all the prerequisite,by 1st week of March,2010, required to settle the insurence claim of the said vehecle.

Subsequently I was told by the representatives of the local dealer Mr Haripada Bhowmik & Mr Uttam Banik that the case is being treated as total loss by the Surveyor and as per negotiation I agreed for salvage loss settlement in the 3rd wk of March.Then I was assured of claim settlement by the end of April,2010.

Since than even after lot of pursuation locally,I failed to yield any positive outcome.Hence I am in considerable mental agony and day to day life for the want of the vehecle,as my profession requires me to be on run very often. My earnest request is to look into the matter sincerely and to
resolve the grievences urgently.
