Complaint Against Naples Singles

On August 26.2011, I met with Jane, arepresentative from Naples Singles. She pitched me on their high scale service which matched upwardly mobile people together. She spoke about how they vetted members as well as putting together a list of my criteria for a match. She said the service was $4000 but that they were looking for females of my description and would give me a “deal” at $500. for 10 dates. Being new back to the area I was looking for a safe way to meet people.

My first date approximately 1 week latter was with an individual who I found out during the date was still MARRIED, had three kids and three DWI’s!! I felt very unsafe and deceived. I attempted to call them without any success. I stopped by their offices on several occasions but there was never anyone present. I finally called the Ft Myers branch and was told that probably the best way to reach someone was by e mail. The only contact I had was a voice message telling me that they discounted my program and that there would be no refunds.

It has been two months and I have yet to have anyone even try to call or e mail me. I have requested a refund and am fighting with the credit card company now. The merchant processor said that Naples Singles does not guarantee satisfaction of their service, they do not honor verbal commitments by their staff and there is no obligation as to vetting members as it is not specifically addressed in their contract. These people are crooks.
