Complaint:-
I am one of Sun Direct customer residing in Hyderabad with smart card# 41233236110.

I have a Tamil basic package & the South Jumbo as an addon package. Last couple of days Fox, Fox crime & Nat geo Wild channels have been removed from the soth jumbo package. Your customer service informed me that I need to take Addon packages of Mercury Plus, Venus Plus to avail of these channels.

Please clarify as to why I need to take two additional packages to get back these 3 channels. I have already contacted your call centre and they have mentioned that they cannot help it since it has been decided by Sun Direct to make these changes. My complaint  is 0020798120 for your reference.

I already have a South Jumbo Package with all the Star Movies,HBO etc channels, why do I need to pay Rs.75/- for the Mercury Plus channel when I need only the Nat Geo Wild channel which you have deleted (for reasons best known to you).

Same for the Venus Plus. Its an additional Rs.142/- for the channels I already have, just because I want the the Fox & Fox Crime channels.

Why cant you have these deleted channels as Ala carte, so that your customers can just choose the channels that they want, instead of
paying for channels we already have.

This only shows that Sun Direct wants to give the startup package for an attractive amount to the customer and then squeeze them to get additional amount.

Are you expecting me as a customer to pay Rs.217 for just these 3  additional channels? How is TRAI ignoring these cheating done by DTH  operators like you?
