Complaint Against Treton.com

I registered with Treton.com after paying for their services, on their promise that I will be contacted by prospective employers with days. Unlike other job sites, Treton is a paid service, which they claimed would add advantage to the job search. I paid Rs8500 towards Resume making and Resume display. I repeatedly suggested them that I am looking for quick response and that is why I am going for a Paid service rather than abundantly available free services.

I registered for their service on 4th June 2010. However, I have not received even a single interview call till date. Today is 15th July 2010. When I call their call center, they keep repeating that I will get a call soon. They do not entertain, their clients to their office. We can only contact them through email, which they eazily ignore. I havent received any response for any of my emails till date.

I need my money back. Please help. Their service is hopeless.

    First of all, treton.com only displays resumes as per the chosen catagories. The Resume Services combines both display & resume making charges. The resume is made & sent to you. So the payment made towards resume making is honoured.

    As to the Resume display, your resume is displayed for the period of subsription on treton.com. Also mentioned clearly in the terms that the payment made towards the display is for one year.

    Treton.com offers no guarantee nor warranties that there would be a satisfactory response or any response at all once the resume is put on display.
    The reciept with the detailed terms is duly signed by the subscriber at the time of subsription. So nothing is hidden since you agree to the terms before subcription by signing the receipt.

    Kindly scan & post your receipt with the terms in this site before making false allegations.

    when I got call from them I got suspect the way they chase to get fees to display the resume, when I cheked the internet I found that they are big fraud,
    so I told them I will not go with thier service, suddenly their tone changed to very bad…that itself show they are big cheaters..

    Treton jobs in Bangalore located in Malleswaram is Charging money from Potential Candidates promising Jobs….they don’t get any jobs or anything, I paid Rs 5000 for their services and haven’t received any calls from potential employers or anyone..

    They usually call the candidate saying that they have a job requirement and asks the candidate to come and register by paying big amount and promising them that they will display their resume in their website and employers will notice them ….nothing happens after that, many people have burnt their fingers.

    The person who calls the candidates is Roopa(partner) and there is a women by name Indu who sits in Malleswaram (she seems to be the owner of this dubious company) who will lure you by her good talks and to gets people into this trap..

    Beware potential job seekers!!!!!! f, stay way from this bogus company.

    Dont get fooled , they are day light robbers , don’t ever belive these people especially Rupa and Indu .

    This is the crap all cheaters finally come and tell you. They cheat you professionally. So, they put it in their Terms and Conditions (as mentioned by Vijaya in the post) saying they don’t guarantee a job and all that rubbish. But, the fact is when you talk to them face to face, they convince you as if there are offers which are already in their pipeline and you will be placed within days. Legally, they get the papers signed from the subscriber. Who cares about the legality. What you need is value for money.

    I got fooled. People , please dont get fooled. Don’t enroll with them. Trust me not even a single employer has contacted me yet. It has been 8 months now since I enrolled with them. I once called them up and shouted. So, they started sending some bogus email to me saying my resume has been pointed to someone etc.. Which is obviously a lie. Apart from that I am sure none of the companies recognize them. They dont believe in hiring from them. If they were genuine, I would have atleast got one call from any employer. I am a professional with more than 7 years of experience, with a very good track record. If you have any questions, please reply to the blog. I will be glad to give you all the details.     Please look at how irresponsibly the spokesperson (Vijaya) has replied. This is what she has written

    “Treton.com offers no guarantee nor warranties that there would be a satisfactory response or any response at all once the resume is put on display.”

    A job site’s job is to get people jobs. If you are not sure if there will be ANY RESPONSE AT ALL to my resume, then why was it not told when talking face to face. The moment I went in for a face to face meeting at Malleshwaram office, she started off .. Money Money money Money.. In fact she gave me a Rs 15000 package or something. I somehow felt I must slow down. I settled for a smaller package. I still remember her words. She said “YOU WILL BE PLACED 100% WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO AFTER THE RESUME IS DISPLAYED”.

    Now, if the same people come with a conflicting reply that they don’t guarantee jobs and things, I am sure it was a preplanned fraud. I agree no one can guarantee a job to anyone. I have worked as a recruiter as well. But, they have lured people to take up the paid service and promised things verbally. It was too early for me to understand that I need to depend on documents and not their words. Unfortunately I referred a couple of my friends too to get enrolled with them. I am sorry for them.

    Treton claims to be the first job site in India, but I have never heard of them until I was contacted by them last week. After examining their website, I became suspicious about their business model. They list a few employers by name and all names lead to the company websites. In my first appointment with them, I was asked to pay up 900Rs for registering. When i told them that I would do my bit of research on Treton, before paying the money for registration, the person whom i was talking to (i guess she was Indu), her tone suddenly changed and she started arguing with me that I had wasted her time (10 minutes in all).

    If i was treated with such courteousness before i became a customer, I can imagine how i would be treated after shelling 900Rs. I walked out of the meeting without arguing back. I request everyone to do their bit of research online and offline before shelling out money for employment services.

    Yes Raj. You are right. It claims to be the first job site. Must be the first job site to take money and cheat also. Please spread the word with all possible blogs as possible. We need to create awareness. I am doing my bit by posting it everywhere possible.

    Well, if the lady Vijaya who claims to be the spokesperson (may be fake or fraud as well) is so sure that they are not fake, then why has no candidate written in your defense ?
    It is not our headache to go on publishing our receipts, we have better jobs to do. It is your job that you maintain a standard.
    Well nevertheless , better late than never… Eventually they will dry out to being with no resumes….
    My advice is Stay away from such companies.. stick to main stream job sites such as monster, hotjobs, naukri etc who does not charge a penny to post your profile into their website.

    My case is diffrent,. they work on bad light and make sure that the terms and conditions are not read properly by the candidate.

    Once aganin i am boldly saying that they have cheated and i have lost more that 13000/-

    They are sitting to make money and utilising the opertunity.

    It is a big better cheating buisness.

    Ii want ask is there any one who have got job by their service.
    If any one of the person has got job then atleast he should be happy.

    We need to make sure that we publish these complaints in all possible locations on internet. Atleast some people will be saved of their money!! I have passed on this news to all my ex collegues. I am sure they will do their bit to stop some people from getting cheated. You too do the same please..

    Dear All

    After seeing this I approached them about this, however they are trying convince by saying that this company is operating for more than 13 years and we job rating of 45%. So I am still confused whether this company is genuine or not, any ways I have spent Rs 7000 , I will wait for 2 months and if don’t get any jobs reply from them I will go legal. Hay why not we all file case against this together , so the with bulk case response will be more.

    I am one more victim of this dubious company. They promise heaven and give only hell. Their motto is only to extract money, nothing else in return.

    I TOTALLY Agree to this.

    Looks like I was their new guinea pig.
    Facts to claim that TRETON is fraud
    1. On phone they mention Rs. 900/- only for the year
    2. When you go to their shabby office the lady in the cabin says it is Rs. 900/- for one category, if u take for more than one category you have to pay Rs. 700 /-. Like that I was asked to pay Rs. 3750 + 10.3% Service Tax i.e. in Total Rs. 4136/-
    3. When enquired that the options were not explained she surprisingly asks me if dint the lady explain on phone.
    4. She bluntly asks for Rs. 125/- cash towards card swipe charges.
    5. Pushes me to take up resume drafting services. She points at Level II resume for the cost of Rs. 2950/-. I was fine with the level II package – but requested the lady that I shall pay only after the month.
    6. I kept getting calls asking for the money.
    7. Today I receive a call again for the money claiming that the resume is ready and the cost is Rs. 4900/- and claims that I had chosen Level III in resume rafting. There has been a dispute in every transaction with them. A total shady experience.

    PLEASE BE AWAY FROM TRETON AND PEOPLE RUNNING THIS.

    Hello All,

    I have paid totally of 15,000/- towards resume drafting and displaying services on treton.com from May 2010 to till date. Not even a single interview call from the recruiter has reached me. When I went to their office in Malleswaram sometime in may 2010, one lady by name Indu, promised me heaven and earth. But, till date, I have not received even a single interview call from the recruiters! I feel that I am cheated of my money! Please I request all the people out there, not to heed to their advices or pay money to them, they will just take you for a ride in their small office in malleswaram and they are trained specifically for that, I suppose. I have also told them in due course of time, I will be making police complaint against treton.com and will be a lesson to all job seekers around.

    I got a call from this company today and decided to check their credentials on the web. Much thanks to this website and your feedback I got forewarned!!

    Thank you so much guys…and kudoos to the webmaster of this site for creating this platform. I really feel sad for some of you but thanks to you all people like me got saved.

    Count me in for any crusade you guys may plan in future….we must smoke these kind of guys out before they do damage to the larger gullible society !

    Thanks so much for all people who posted here. Now I am escaped from their trap. They got another name- JOBPOINTER.IN. As Bangalore has become so big, the size of these type of cheaters also got multiplied. So please be aware. Now we have the opportunity to do online research to get the real reviews by customers, thanks to internet. Once again guys, they have another name JOBPOINTER.IN
