Delay in delivery of renewal of Maruti Car Insurance policy
1. I am in possession of Maruti insurance Policy No. 70309097 for my Maruti Esteem Registration No. HR-14B-9001 for the past five years. The insurance was valid up to 11 Jul 10. For getting it renewed i contacted Amitdeep Motors located Sulem Sarai , G T road Allahabad (UP). On 07 Jul 10 in response to my call Mr. Sawan from the above mentioned agency was handed a cheque for the said purpose. Till 19 Jul 10 there was no trace of the agent or the policy. On 19 Jul 10 at Appx. 1000H i called up Mr. Sawan and requested him to deliver the policy duly completed by afternoon (1400h) since i had to proceed for an urgent official commitment at Kanpur in the same car. He in turn confirmed that the policy would be delivered positively within an hour. However even after repeated calls my policy was not delivered even till 1600H and i had to proceed without the policy. After i had left for Kanpur he called me up and said that he wanted to leave my policy with my people. I refused to accept the policy since i was not satisfied with the kind of services provided to me as the people delegated with the responsibility did not consider the satisfaction of the customer requirement as prime.
2. This is to bring to your notice that my policy is still with the above mentioned agency. Post the incident narrated i am not keen on utilising the insurances services provided by Maruti . You are requested to ensure my policy is cancelled and my due amount is reimbursed on priority. To avoid such unpleasant incidents in future you may like to initiate some corrective action against the above mentioned agency who are presenting such face of Maruti Insurance.
