Delay in Installation of Airtel Broadband services

I have benn cheated by the company by making false promises and then not responding to the same.

Mr. Vikas Sharma visited my residence on 05th July 2011 , for collecting the application form and all the documents with a cheque of Rs.500/-, required to get a new broadband connection of Airtel. He made big promises and also said the connection would be activated within the next three days.

However, nobody came after that for almost a month and when i called Vikas to inform this, he behaved as if he knew nothing and asked me to follow up with the company directly… I called them frantically for many days but did not get any satisfactory response from them.After so many months of not getting the new installation, i have started receiving calls from the airtel call centre for my non payment of my bills for broadband usage.

I am utterly disgusted and confused on this status.

When i inform them that there is no connection that has been installed at my residence – they just disconnect the call. and then i receive another call after a few days for the same thing.

Please help me get out of this situation and have the people punished for their mistake.
