Fleecing by Airtel DTH

1. I had booked a connection under Diwali package of Rs 2190 on 29 Oct 11. The TX –ID is 17412103.

2. After innumerable complaints I get an installation on 18 Nov 11 i.e 20 days late. However there are two further complaints emerging from this activity.

3. First, I had taken a complete package which included free installation and a 12 month subscription of channels which were advertised. However, till date despite innumerable complaints to the call centre and writing to the help line, the channels are still not coming. The error code of ’6′ comes.

4. Second, while I was out and my wife got the instalation , the technician charged my wife Rs 250 as service charges and would not give any papers or detail the reasons for that charge. As mentioned earlier, I had taken a package with complete payment done upfront. Still charging by the company people, is akin to fleecing. The installation people had called from 9894011604. I reported this to the airtel people on 9971110801, customer care and help line phone but till date I havent got any reply.
