Fraud in Airtel Prepaid Life Time Connection.

Hello all, I want to share my vicious experience with you.I had a connection of Airtel Prepaid connection in Kolkata (west-bengal). Airtel launched a life time connection at Rs.999/-.The condition was for this connection that no mandatory recharge required for this life time connection.My no was-9831164880.

After purchase this connection at Rs.999/- I was using this connection very happyli.After a year later I stop using this no for 3 months due to stole my mobile.Then after bought a new mobile when I inserted the sim card into mobile I saw the sim card was unregistered.Imediately I called customer care they advised me that contact contact immediately at airtel office at Shyam Bazar.I did that.

The airtel guy of shyam bazar told me that the life timer connection required mandatory recharge Rs.200/- in every 6 months.I did not do that that’s why my connection was canceled.I told them that I took this life time connection at Rs.999/- & when there is no rules of mandatory recharge of any denomination.

But they did not listen to me anymore & told me that contact with their Park Street head office.I did that same.I was surprised that park street Airtel guy told me same thing.I was very angry on them I asked them who is their higher authority.Customer service people told me that their decision is final.I have to take a new connection.They don’t retrieve & get back my old no-9831164880 under any circumstances.

Even they did not accept any written complaint from me or lodge a viva complaint against this. Now all India people it’s just my advice that stay away to use Airtel prepaid connection.Because as you read this complaints is totally true.Beware from Airtel prepaid connection.they can do anything to you. You can see that actually Airtel is stole my Rs.60/- which was in my balance & also broke their own rules & regulation.

    We are already aware of the
    problem but we at Airtel have a
    policy of not refunding any
    money. We are sorry we can’t
    refund your money. To
    deactivate, dial 121 and don’t
    malign us here else we may have
    to take Legal action against you.

    information without notice and without any reason. And after long discussion you
    told me that this not possible for again run that number. But now I see that my
    number 9892041880 is now running on other behalf of person. After use 5 year you
    give this to your customer (ek dokha)? I was also your old customer but you did not
    do with me good…

    strongly convinced with trheir cheating tacts. i am also shocked to see their response posted threatening to sue. YE TOH WAHI BAAT HUI CHORI BHI SEENA JORI BHI.

    in fact you are not the one and only recently i also had brunt of unsolicited service charges arbitrary deducted and when protested refused to refund thus cheating. this also because very few of us thinks of pulling them to a legal conclusive fight.

    infact I am subscriber of several air tel numbers with in my family, one of that is prepaid number 9958057927, which was not in use since long even there was no balance against my account till today morning.

    To day morning as soon as, I recharged my number an amount of Rs.30 have been deducted against friend service. When I contacted customer care center, I was told that that the service was activated on my number since 22 April. The same was told to have been provided on pushing some button while answering certain call. When I demanded cancellation of unsolicited service and refund of arbitrary deducted amount deducted on 2.09.10 for any unsolicited service in 22nd april, my call was transferred to some senior who refused to entertain refund of deduction. he also could not give the details of service used from my number, he was also not convinced as to if the same was not used by me how the same would have been solicited, whether for just paying the charges. infact, I never opted for any such service. Moreover, even if any children would have pushed any button, the same should have been discontinued; as such there was no balance since long.

    This is not a question of deducting meager amount of Rs. 30/- but I feel cheated by a reputed service provider for unsolicited service. The same is also evident that the service was never I repeat never used from my number. Arbitrary deduction for unsolicited service has also caused mental agony to me. now i am pulling out all the other numbers. let the airtel be happy with Rs. 30/-

    i have to look association with other service provider.

    I am AnilRaj.R, I am totally fade up with your Airtel connection, which is I am facing for almost one week. For my last complaint from 13th Oct to 15th Oct, after a long fight I got solution on 15th Oct. And again I am facing the same problem from today (18th Oct 2010) 6.00pm, the problem is I am not able to do an outgoing call from my number 9958613442. For this I called your customer care officers (useless fellows), who don’t know how to talk with a customer, I talk with Mr. Simran, Mr. Ankur etc. Mr. Ankur don’t know how to talk with a customer, I told him to transfer the call to his senior for this he only told me that thank u for calling customer care and disconnected the call. And also the same is done by Mr. Simran.
    Your customer care wing, your technical wing and other wings are not able to solve customer problem. So I am requesting u to please take your connection back and compensate me because at the time of last complaint, my loss in business is Rs.146000.00, visiting card cost for 1000 nos which I printed the same number is Rs 3000.00 and for calling to your customer care from other phone it is around Rs.600. So total is Rs.149600.00. so please do the need full as soon as possible.
