Fraudulent Billing by Airtel DTH

I had originally taken 3 Dth connections for 3 TV’s in my house with the normal set top boxes .I subsequently switched 1 set-top box to a HD connection . So i now possess I HD connection set top box & 2 normal set top boxes.

However, Airtel insists that I have 4 set top boxes instead of 3 & have been charging me for 4 instead of 3. I have been writing letters & complained on 12150 . They have even rung me up & taken down the 3 STB nos.

Despite all this Airtel goes on billing me for 4 set top boxes . Airtel is the worst when it comes to service and even complaining on the telephone is frustrating because calls always get disconnected & the telephone operators are rude .

Airtel DTH is a crooked company & I will switch over to Tata Sky if I don’t get a refund for excessive billing.
