HDFC Bank Complaint – Non Closure of Bank Account

I gave a letter to HDFC Bank Ltd at Trichy Road Branch, Coimbatore 641018, on October 17th,2009 asking them to close my savings ban account No 00311000181196.

Till today, the account has not been closed.IT IS TWO WEEKS. The branch has not reverted in spite of inquiries.

    I requested ATM card and IPIN on 09/10/2010 at Jaipur, Vaishyali Branch and I opted to collect in same branch( Vaishali Nagar branch). They said they will call me when ever it receives, but I did not receive any call from bank even after 15 days, I visited same branch 4 times repeatedly every time answering that It dispatched to other branch, It will take four working days.
    Finally When I met with bank manager on 22/11/2010 when I explain my issue ,He is not responsive enough towards my issue and said for collecting ATM card you need to show Original Identify proof for ATM pin It will take 4 more working days as I waited more than a month. I transfered to Jaipur from Hyderbad I kept my all originals in my home town, I am account holder collecting my stuff they can check with other option(Signature) who will carry original Identities.

    Jaipur, Vaishali Nagar branch employee are not at all justifiable towards customers.

    I transferred to Jaipur from Hyderabad If you can do favor to collect my ATM and IPIN ASAP in any of the Jaipur branchs, other wise please close my account.
