Incorrect Information Provided by Airtel Executives
I have been using an Airtel braodband/land line executives from sep-oct 2010. During march April phase I was busy travelling and giving interviews. Because of which I was not able to pay the Bill. I finally shifted from Noida to Gurgaon in May. I gave a request for transfer of connection soon after.
But due to some reason they were unable to transfer the connection. They said it would take 15 days, then a month. At few instances I was not available to give documents.
Finally when I enquired they said it would take a month. Then I said suspend the connection and transfer after one month. They said that it is not possible, they advised let the connection be on til one month, when it gets transferred, as there is no usage they would adjust the bill and I would not have to pay.
Finally I got tired and said that I do not want the connection so please terminate the connection.
Today I got call from Richa Sharma, executive asking me to pay bill as the connection was on. I told her entire story but seems like the people handling process earlier had not informed me about these liabilities and not registered correct status of my request. This is done to keep their performance good on the charts. My request status have not been properly updated and I have been provided with incorrect information. This was done so that I continue to be a customer. And done by executives to boost their sale charts and keep their supervisers happy.
I now have to pay a bill of 1200 rs. for the month of june or some later month, but the connection is not in use from May 28 and despite my request being submitted.
