Non Confirmation Of Hotel Booking Inspite Of Paying 3 Months In Advance
I had recd confirmed vouchers for hotel bookings from makemy trip on Sept 17,2010 regarding my Rajasthan trip (Jaipur/Jodhpur/Udaipur), but when I had checked with the respective hotels at Jaipur (Laxmi Palace), Jodhpur(Mapple Abhay) and Udaipur (Krishna Niwas) on Friday 17.12.10,I found out from Mapple Abhay that the booking for 27th & 28th night Dec 2010 is not confirmed and Krishna Niwas ,Udaipur has informed that there is no breakfast in my stay there on 29th night inspite of the fact that MMT’s booking voucher mentd of bfast also.
I had called up for Anita then but in yher absence the call was attended by Janki Shah who assured me that the matter would be resolved in 15 minutes. However I did not get a call from her for an hour and when I called her up later she said she was taking the appropriate steps to recitfy the problem. When again on same evng., I ddi not get a call, I rang up and was told that she had left for the day and a new executive Harsh came on the line with the same assurances but thankfully he called up & confirmed that there was a problem which they were sorting out.
When I asked him the status, he insisted that the problem shall be solved in a day’s time. On Saturday morining I conveyed this problem to anita who said she shall resolve but again no call from her through out the day. So on Saturday evng, when I called her up again she onlyinformed me that the booking is available in Mapple Abhay, Jodhpur just for one night and she is trying for 28th night also. The matter shall be confirmed by her only on Monday ie. today ie 20.12.10. Today also when I made the call she told me that she will resolve by 1pm today. However it is 3 pm now and still no phone call or writtem mail. All the time only I have been calling them and wrtiting mails but I have not recd any email reply from make my trip so far.
The goof up came to my knwoledge only because I wasted my time and money on the phonecalls to these hotels. So now I am awaiting for her confirmation for:
1)hotel saty on 27th & 28th night at Jodhpur -confirmation
2)breakfast confirmation at Krishna Niwas at Udaipur-confirmation
3)cab vouchers with vehicle details, driver name and phone nos.
