Complaint:
I tried to book an air-ticket through Yatra.com on 04-08-2009 for my daughter Ms.Roshini for travel from Mumbai to New York (JFK)on 14-08-09. Accordingly, I had logged on to their online ticket booking system and as per the directions received online, furnished various information for booking of the above air-ticket.

Thereafter, it was displayed onthe screen that the ticket sought by me was available and I was given the option of paying for the ticket by credit card or through net banking (ICICI). I had chosen the latter option. An amount of Rs.49,130/- was paid. At the end of the booking process, I got the message saying “OOps! we are unable to connect with the concerned airline.

Our representative will contact you shortly”. However, no representative of Yatra.com contacted us. After several attempts over last several days to contact the Yatra, we were asked for details of the payment made.

I got the details of the transaction from my Banker (ICICI) and forwarded the same to Ms.Akanksha Jain by email. Yatra has neither refunded the money nor given me any satisfactory reply regarding booking of the ticket so far. Kindly advise what is to be done.
