Reliance BIG TV Set Top Box Getting Stopped After Auto Upgradation

I am having Reliance BIGTV Connection since last 18 months. Few days back there was a auto upgradation of its software and since then the set top box is getting stopped every 20 minutes. I have placed complaint of which no action has been taken yet. The service engineer came it worked well for 2 days and agaian the same problem started.

How do these people get business if they donot take care of their existing customers. I will not take any Reliance connection in future and also suggest other people not to take any connection from them. Their ethics, working culture and customer satisfaction is careless, no value at all. I am gong to isconnect this connection and along with the 10 other people and this 10 people wil cancel 50 others.

    On my surprise my STB was replaced today and its working welltill now.

    I wonder why this action was not taken earlier for the last 1 month. BIGTV people only acts when u say i am going to cancel my conncetion or u put a complaint against them on http://www.customercomplaint.in.

    I am having Reliance Big TV connection, after auto up-gradation of set top box software it is getting restarted for every 15-20 minutes. Customer care people will not giving any support regarding this any response. In this regard i am going to file a case in Consumer Court against this Reliance Big TV.

I have placed complaint of which no action has been taken yet. The service engineer came and told me that you need to replace the set top box.
    And the company is giving the warranty of 1 year, so I need to pay 500 Rs. to replace this box. The box will have warranty of 3 months.so; instead of taking this new box from big TV I will prefer to buy the DTH for any other provider.
    Those who read this blog please do not buy BIG TV as there hardware is of low quality.
