Videocon Maano Ya Na Maano Offer Complaint

I have purchased videocon Jumbo 34 inches TV on 18.12.2007 at Mallikarjuna enterprises, Mahabubnagar, A.p . at that time in the offer they said that you will get plasma 32 inches after completion of 2 years and 11 months the time completed on 19.11.2010 and now when i asked the dealer they given me the mobile number 8885277323 of kumar .

when i called the number the person is telling that now plasma TVs are not available and you pay Rs.7000/- then we will give LCD. why should i pay the money.please help me in this regard. My bond No. 128093 dated 18.12.2007

    Hi freinds,
    I am in same row and I feel many would join league soon since most of the deals would matured during this time. This shouldn’t be leaved and take it upto people. Everyone should know the happenings.and company should realise thier mistakes.
    Guys post all your issues whereever possible and let everyone know abt the cheating of videocon.

    Dear Friends,

    I too am a customer and recd the letter from Videocon, In the letter Videocon has clearly given the reference of Point 12 whereby they had asked customers to deposite approx 5000 to get the Plasma or pay the additional amount in case if some one wants to upgrade to LCD/LED.

    We are also facing same issue we purchased 34″ Jumbo in Jan 2008 and as per scheme we are going to get 32″ plasma on Jan2011 but now they are saying tht you have to pay extra money..
    Why should we pay them?? we already paid them 7k extra during 34″purchase.
    At that time thy have to clearly specify this things.
    I was not expecting this from company Like “Videocon”

    Guys Videocon is cheating all with thi offer “maano ya na maano offer”. The plasma TV that they are offering for 5000 extra does not have AV input and remote control. What use is thie TV without AV input and remote control.
    You can only watch Doordarshan in that TV.

    This is regarding the above said offer given by M/s Videocon Industries Limited. The Offer was put forward by one of the sales executive at Devi International, No 22, 10th main, Jayanagar 2nd block, Bangalore – while i was purchasing my current TV set, Videocon ctv 34 jUMBO 8800 QSP. The offer stated that if I could pay an extra Rs.7000.00 on the date of purchase of my existing TV set, and buy a bond issued by the manufacturer, I will be eligible to get a Plasma TV after 2 years and 11 months. Now that I have completed the time period on the bond. The company further stated that we have to pay off only the local taxes and transportation charges towards the delivery of the new TV set. However the company is claiming a sum of Rs.4995.00 towards taxes and transportation which is an exorbitant rate. Moreover the Tv does not come with even the basic accessory, the Remote control unit.

    The TV does not come with an audio video port, no remote, no HDMI, no stand etc. This is complete cheating from the so to say major brand of manufacturer. This, as far as a consumer is concerned, is breach of trust and integrity.

    Thus, I would humbly request the honourable court to accept my complaint regarding the same and do justice to the common public. I am just one among thousands who have been cheated in the hoax.

    at the beging when u offer u didnt mentioned that the TV is not having a remote control av input it was not also didnt mentioned in the adverasment and also in certificate so i am going to put a case against to u in consumer court

    Very bad, when I call Vidoecon industries, they will give different person number to get the details on this offer, but that person is not answering the phone call. bad service – Bangalore.

    we are also facing the same by videocon’s maano ya na maano offer,we cant expect such a harrasing by videocon,we want tv without paying any extra cost.otherwise we will go to customer forum.
