Vodafone 3G Is Cheating Consumer

I have been cheated by Vodafone India.

My plan for the vodafone 3G datacard number is MBB_VOL_850_30d_3G. I have purchased this SIM card from Vodafone store located at Pune. While I purchased the SIM, I was told by the staff that there is offer of additional 3GB for customers. This has also been advertised in the newspapers. So the total volume limit for the month is 6Gb. While my account showed 3Gb, I was told that the additional 3Gb will be automatically added to my data limit.

My total usage for the previous month was ~4.5 Gb. I have been charged Rs 15000 for additional usage above 3Gb using the rate 10 paise per kb. So for the first 3Gb they charged me 850 and for the 1.5Gb additional they charged me 15000.

Vodafone cheated me on the following points.

1. Staff at the store gave me wrong information.

2. Even though they set the credit limit of 5000, a bill was generated for 15000. They again lied to me that the credit is only for voice and not for data while the credit limit is clearly linked to a customer id.

3. The data connection was disconnected without notice the day the bill was generated.
