Vodafone Does Not Cancel Postpaid Connections Even On Repeated Requests

I have been trying endlessly to cancel my Vodafone number from the past 3 months, and Vodafone did not honour the request till date.

I was forced to stop bill payment so that they might concede the request. After two months of follow up for bill payment, i thought they might cancel my number on bill payment. But nothing happened whatsoever!

Finally when i was ready to make the bill payment on 04th August and requested them to cancel my number, they declined to cancel and sent me a bill again on 16th August as amount pending.

I will pay the amount due on 04th August only right? Why should i pay for the days when i didn’t want their service??
