Worst Experiece and Cheating done by Tayal Motors Service Center

I am sharing the unexpected and worst service that I have been experiencing since last 20 days from the Tayal Motors service center, Faridabad – Haryana.

1. I gave my Tata Indica Turbo DLG Car “DL 7CE 9997″ at Tayal Motors service center on 30-Sep-11 for repair of it’s LHS rear view mirror and front power window kit of both the sides. Without checking if the part is available in the store, I was committed delivery of my repaired car by 3rd Oct’ 11 however was informed on 30th Sep. evening that both the power window kits are not in store. On 3rd Oct. I did a follow up with the Service Rep. Raman and visited him at the service desk too wherein I was informed that the missing parts are already ordered and will be received by 5th Oct. Hence I got a new delivery date of 6th Oct. for my car after repair.

2. On 6th Oct. I tried calling Raman on his given number however found it switched off. I called Reception of Tayal Motors and got transferred to Service help desk. The lady at service desk took my name & contact number and promised a call back with status of my car repair within 5-10 minutes. I did not get a call back and this happened three times on the same day. Somehow I was able to get new contact number of Raman and once again was promised a call back within 10 minutes however never received a call back from him. I had to drive to Tayal Motors Service Center on my scooter and complain to CRM Manoj Lowe about this ignorance by the service desk and Raman. I was informed by Manoj that only RHS power window kit is available in the store and I should expect complete repair of my car in next 3-4 days.

3. After 3-4 days I visited service center once again and car was still not repaired due to non-availability of LHS power window. I met GM service and shared the bad experience I was experiencing since more than 10 days. Once again I got a new commitment to get car repaired in next 3-4 days.

4. On 17th Oct. I called Raman many times and got no response. I also called on mobile number of GM Service and was promised a call back in 10 minutes. Once again I did not receive any call back. I called GM Service once again in the late evening and was told that my earlier call was picked by someone else an he is not sure who it was. He said the service center was closed for the day and he will check the status on my car first thing in the morning and call me before 10 am on 18th Oct. When on 18th Oct. I did not receive a call from service center until 11 am, I had to visit service center once again on 18th Oct. and I complained GM service about this. I was informed that missing part has been received and car will be ready within next 1-2 hours. As I have had many visits to service center and was already having my scooter with me, I requested them for delivery of my car. I was asked to make the payment of all the repair charges to get the home delivery of my car on 19th Oct. I made the payment of Rs. 10600 with a written commitment of delivery of my repaired car at my home by 19th Oct.

5. I called CRM today (19-Oct) and got to know that received part is not fixable in my car and they are working to arrange the correct part. Once again they failed to repair & deliver my car as per committed date and this time even after making the payment. They are now saying that the sample part is sent to Tata Parts Center and I can expect my car repaired & delivered by 20th Oct.

6. I have experienced the worst service of my life with lot of hassle in last 20 days. Tayal Motors service center has not just failed to fulfil it’s commitment several times but also have ignored me & my complains all the times. My calls have been always ignored and never got a call back whenever promised. The service rep. never bothered to provide a status of my car repair. All my complaints have been taken very lightly and all the times it looked like getting such customer complains are not unusual for them. Almost everyone at Tayal Motor service center (including Service Rep., CRM, GM Service, Service center help desk, and spare part store in charge) are responsible for all this mess created with me. Even after Making the payment, today I am not sure if my car will be repaired & delivered by 20-Oct. I am left with no faith on any commitment by Tayal Motors Service Center.
